AM CHARITY FUND
was founded in memory of Jesse E. Smith in 2010. It is a tribute to his legacy as a respected member of the Ballroom community.
Jesse Smith, along with his wife Lynda Snith, were US America Style Ballroom Champions achieving four US titles. He was a member of the Arthur Murray Dance Centers.
Jesse was sought after worldwide as a dance performer, adjudicator, choreographer, and coach. Jesse died at the age of 37 in 2006 from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His grandfather also died of Hodgkin’s.
Lynda Smith and children Dayton and Elyse have been actively involved with AM CHARITY FUND since its inception.
Every year in honor of Jesse E. Smith, AM CHARITY FUND contributes to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) from funds raised by its charity events, Dancing with the Twin Cities Celebrities and this year we are proud to have our first AM Charity Fund THEATER SHOW.
